Climate change is often disproportionately felt by older populations. For Climate Elders, 1in6by2030 partnered with HelpAge International to create portraits of elders living in climate-affected regions. Each image is paired with personal messages from the elders directed to world leaders, highlighting a universal sentiment expressed through individual narratives.

The photo series will be exhibited at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) from at the Fidanza Gallery, part of the Museum of Sacred Art of the Saint Alexander Church, located in the historic center of Belém, at Praça Frei Caetano Brandão, s/n – Cidade Velha, Belém, Pará, Brazil. 

The exhibition will run from November 8 to January 21 2026, after which it will be donated to the museum.
