A Progressive Approach To Caregiving in America

Please take a look at a new multimedia project I worked on for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation last summer. It was created from a series of five stories I photographed and captured audio for, about this progressive approach to caring for our elders. The programs have different titles, but they go under the heading of Cash and Counseling. Basically, it allows disabled and elderly people to receive funding to pay their family members or people they trust in their communities to care for them. It's innovative and a promising solution to our burgeoning personal caregiving needs in America.

Interesting Blog Discussion on Niger Delta Story in NG

This blog thread was recently brought to my attention. This is a conversation about the issues in the Niger Delta, sparked by my story in the current issue (Feb. 2007) of National Geographic Magazine.
